Remembrance Day. { 1 }
Today, I thought about how stupid it was to want the latest iBook or the latest iPhone or the latest iPod and to always be concerned about how we look and how we dress and how we talk and what we drive and how much our mortgage payments are and how many years until the mortgage is paid off and what sports do you have your kids playing and what about instruments and is that real leather?
Today, I feel the shame.
The moral of this post? Thank you to Canada’s war heroes, past and present, for giving me the luxury to live in a country where I can say, do and buy anything I want.
